We were on our way to Finch Arboretum for a picnic when I saw a sign for a Fire Demo @ Fire Station 92. I thought Ethan would love it, he is always talking about being a firefighter.
One of the resident firefighters gave us a tour of the station.

The jaws of life... it is crazy how they can rip open a car like a can opener.
It's crazy because the night before I had had a dream that our apartment complex caught on fire. I looked out onto our balcony and everything was on fire except our apartment wasn't... yet! So I climbed down our balcony and Jared helped the kids get out through their bedroom window and I caught them. Then I woke up! I had totally forgot that I had that dream until we were walking around the fire station.... isn't that weird?!
