Independence Day 2012

My sister Laura posted this craft on Pintrest so for ladies craft night last month, a couple of us got together to make it! I love the way it turned out!
We were planning on going up to Priest Lake to my parents cabin for the 4th, but some people decided that wasn't a good idea! So Jared the kids & I went to Kennewick instead.  DeAnne & Justin were so kind to let us crash their BBQ with friends.

I made a strawberry tart for dessert.

I had I no idea that Sienna had made this face, but it made me laugh when I saw it on the camera.
 Take 2!
I see where Sienna gets her face's from! Daughter like Father

We went down by the Columbia River to watch fireworks.
The kids started throwing rocks to past the time
We waited forever the fireworks to start and the mosquitoes were biting us like crazy.
I tried to cover up so the mosquitoes would stop biting me!
Finally around 10pm the fireworks that we were waiting for started. It was a little disappointing  because they were so faraway, but I didn't really care because I was  way too tired to really enjoy them anyways.
The night wasn't a total lose, there was a beautiful sunset and we could see fireworks all over the Tri-Cities from where we were, and the moon was pretty amazing too!

Daniel's Birthday

Daniel, Heidi and the kids came up for a visit and  arrived the day before Daniel's birthday. Daniel thought it would be fun if a bunch of us went to Churchill's Steakhouse for his birthday dinner.
They  have an awesome deal going on right now,"Wimpy Wednesday"! Our USDA Prime Burgers & Fries just $7.00 all night in the Lounge.
Seriously AMAZING!
After we picked up the kids we went back to my parents house and had a Snickers ice cream that I made especially for him. Can you believe it... Daniel is 31 years old?! I swear his 16th birthday was just last year, actually I think that  his 16th birthday was the last time I celebrated with him!

Simple Adelaide{Craft} Blog

I joined Pintrest  about a month ago, and decided that I wanted to pin some of my stuff on there... so I started a craft blog  http://mysimplyadelaide.blogspot.com/. I've put most of my crafts on their and some really cute handouts that I made when I was a Beehive adviser. Enjoy!

Aunts & Unlces

All of my Mom's siblings came for a visit in June and this is the only picture I have.
My Uncle John put a mustache on Ethan's pancake, while we ate breakfast at Old European

I found out that Sienna was exposed to Hand, Mouth & Foot Disease and was starting to have all the symptoms when my Uncle Bill & Aunt Jody arrived in town. I was so bummed and tried to stay away, so no one else would get it. The day before they left we decided to go out to Old European with them and my Mom. I'm so glad we did! Oh... good old Uncle Bill... he hasn't changed one bit and neither have his jokes! :)  A couple of days later my Aunt Sheryl, Pam & Uncle John came for a visit. They ate dinner at my parents house and we came over for a visit, it was great catching up with them! The last time I saw them we went to Tomato Street for dinner and I started having contractions while I was pregnant with Sienna, and my Aunt Pam drove me to the hospital. Though this was the first time any of them met Sienna. It's crazy how the time has flown by! I was great visiting with them all of them and I hope that they come back to visit soon!

Finch Arboretum

Jared loves the Finch Arboretum, so we decide to go on a family picnic/nature walk. Well we didn't eat lunch there because we went to the fire demo, but we did enjoy a lovely nature walk.

we found this shelter that someone built

I really enjoyed  all of  the beautiful flowers, I couldn't help stopping and taking pictures of everything!

We  had so much fun, I just love spending time with my family!
