Happy Birthday to...

ME!
I had such a wonderful Birthday! It definitely is on my top 10 Best Birthdays!
Jared & Ethan decorated the living room all fancy!
Jared made Apple Strudel French Toast for breakfast!

After breakfast Ethan wanted me to open my present from him. I had to check all the balloons for a secret clue to find my present.

Ah- ha... I found it!
Jared took him shopping and he really wanted to get me jewelry and it had to be purple. I swear he is the sweetest boy... he is going to make such a Great Husband!

My friends Erin & Jamie treated me to lunch at Costa Vida and they brought a chocolate cake- I love them!
For dinner we went to Thai Bamboo. I have been craving it since the last time we ate there in September.

Not only is the food really delicious but the atmosphere is great too! I love the ceiling!
I love birthdays! This year I have come to really appreciate turning a year older... I'm 28 and proud of it! Life is such a gift and not everyone makes it to their next birthday. I have had close family members and friends pass away and because of it I love to make birthdays extra special, you never no when it will be there last!

My 2 favorite birthdays were my 8th and 18th birthdays! On my 8th birthday my Mom made it extra special! She took me shopping and I picked out a couple of things. She told me that we couldn't get anything right then, because we had to go. We left to go out to eat with my Grandma & Grandpa Heath. When I came home we had cake & ice cream and (still ...to this day I don't know how my Mom pulled this off)  I opened presents and I got everything  that I had picked out earlier that day! What also made that day special was that I had some special visitors stop by my house- my cousin Ken, Yen & Heather Houck (who were all in there 20's)... man did I feel so cool! Heather brought me a present which was a {bath time} Barbie doll- I loved playing with that doll!
On my 18th birthday my boyfriend (who is now my husband), threw a surprise party for me with a little help from Britany and Danielle! Though I had a lot of fun at the party, my favorite part was when Jared dropped me off at home. I walked into my bedroom and the floor was covered in small balloons and there was a giant bouquet of balloons {18 to be exact because I turned 18}, a dozen yellow roses with 1 red rose in the middle { the red roses= love and the yellow roses = friendship- he said, "The red rose represents our love which is surrounded by friendship!"}I know he was Super Cheesy back then! There was also a small gift bag setting on my bed. He got me a really nice watch! Do you see how he won me over- I love my sweet thoughtful husband!

I'm so grateful to have celebrated another year of life and I'm thankful for all those who made it special! Thanks for all the gifts and birthday wishes... they really do mean a lot to me!
