We stayed up late Sunday night to decorate Ethan's bike for the 4th of July Parade. He was so excited! Monday morning Jared got a call from our friends to see if he could come help move a piano. He is so nice.... of course he said, yes! I was fine with his decision to help, until about 9:50 ten minutes before the parade started. By the time we got there the fire truck was already hosing everyone off. Both Ethan & I were so bummed!![]()
Sienna decided to sit down and take in all the madness!
Ethan wouldn't get off his bike to run through the water, so Jared took Sienna instead. She didn't seem to mind. Before we went to the Indians Game, we went to the Well's BBQ. We had fun a lot of fun and yummy food. Ethan was in heaven in their backyard! I had to beg him to stop playing long enough to eat.
I was excited to see Sienna's reaction to the fireworks... she was smiling at first then, this was pretty much her face the rest of the time!
I love watching the fireworks! It makes me so proud to be an American! I'm so blessed to live in a country were I can do, say and believe what I want! It really is a beautiful thing and sometimes I take for granted.
Ethan lucked out, right after the game ended Tyler Massey from the Tri-Cities team gave Ethan a baseball and a bat signed by part of his team! I think that made up for missing the parade earlier. Happy Independence Day!
