I'm sad to say we didn't go anywhere overnight this year, but we still had a wonderful Anniversary. Grammy & Papa kept Ethan over night Friday. Saturday morning I made Jared pancakes for breakfast.
We went to Manito for a picnic lunch.
We had Sienna with us, but she slept the entire time. She looked so cute all bundled up.
We threw the Frisbee and were being really big nerds- hence the face that Jared is making.
I love Manito! It's always so beautiful this time of year.
Manito is where I saw Jared for the first time. We also took our engagement & wedding pictures there.
We went to Wild Sage for dinner.
They give you these delicious fluffy rolls called popovers with honey butter. They were dangerously good!
As part of our anniversary celebration we will be going to see one of our favorite bands in concert.
I made this delicious cake for dessert and it was oh... so good!
This past year wasn't easy we had some pretty big trials, but it was nice to have Jared by my side as we figured things out together. I'm so grateful to be married to my best friend. I thank Heavenly Father everyday that I was able to marry him, he is the love of my life!

Congratulations, Michelle. You are such a good sweet wife. I am glad you guys got to have fun. Those popovers look divine.
You do such cute things. Crap, I didn't even blog about our anniversary and just now Justin and I are trying to figure out what we did...ha! Now I remember. Anyway, Manito is the place Justin saw me for the first time too.
