Snowmobiling in Spring

Dallas peering into a bear cave.
This is actually an old abandoned mine northeast
of Chewelah. It was once mined for beryllium.
This we discovered when we found a geo cache.
Dallas explained to me that a geo cache is a hidden
container filled with worthless artifacts by those who
find it. They are intended to befound using GPS, but
they are also sometimes discovered accidentally as
was the case with Dallas and I. This was my first time
snowmobiling and it was so much fun. Unfortunately
our advetures were cut short when we stopped to
explore this mine. Dallas' sled never started back up
after our little diversion. We had to pull it back down
the mountain. I look forward to going again.
