Craft Craze

The past couple of days I have been super busy
making a bunch of different things, for YW,
Valentine's Day, & Card Group. I was
in need of a sewing machine for a Birthday
gift that I make for each young women that
turns 14. Anyways my mom's sewing
machine broke last time I was used it, so
I borrowed one from another YW's leaders.
When she dropped it off, I had no clue what
I was getting into, the case looked like luggage.
It was super heavy & really old, have you
ever heard of a Berina? She asked me if I knew
how to thread it, I told her "I could figure it out
no problem." Lucky me, it had no instructions!
I tried for about 20 minutes to thread it, ha ha!
I was getting really irritated, then I got a
brilliant idea to search the Internet.
THANK YOU, GOOGLE!!!
I found instructions with pictures!!
After I got it working & finished my project,
I decided to work on other stuff,
hence the craft craze! Last time I was using my
mom's sewing machine, I was working on a bag
for my new scriptures. By the way it wasn't my
fault that her machine broke, the timer was off
and the needle kept breaking. I got my new set
Scriptures (with my name them) for Christmas
about a year ago. I can't tell you how many years
I have wanted new scriptures, you know how
when you turn 8 you get your set of scriptures own
with your name on it, well I didn't. I think I was 10
when I got my first set & it said
"Barbara Suzanne Bergmann". Thanks Mom!
Anyways, I wanted a cute bag to put my
new scriptures in, but I couldn't find any
so I decided to make my own. I didn't follow a
pattern or anything, I just kind of made it up as
I went along, & I think it turned out pretty good!
The only sad things, that my name has rubbed off.

Instead of just celebrating Valentine's Day on
Saturday,I want to celebrate it all long week. I
painted & decorated this mailbox all cute, so I could
put cards that I made in it, for each day of the week.
(I'll post pictures of the cards later).
My partner in crime this week, (besides the
sewing machine) is the CRICUT.
I don't know if you have ever heard of it but,
it's a really awesome machine that cuts paper
just about any size!
It's great for cutting things out like letters
or if you need to cut things out in multiples.
This is a cute little bag for a YW's birthday gift!
I used both the sewing machine & the Cricut for my
cards for my Card Group for the month of February.
Fancy! Sorry, I wrote a novel in this post, I just love
being creative & sharing it with others! I especially
love it when others share their creativity too!
Oh by the way I added a new addition to my blog.
I saw this on a friends blog, so I added. It's at the
bottom of each post labeled "Reactions".

Yeah I saw the new additions to your blog. Clever.
I am so jealous of how creative you are! I only wish I had half your creativity!
