these 3 fingers in the garage door. I felt so dumb!
I tried to grab the handle but I couldn't quite reach
it. Instead, I reached for the crack between the
first & second panel. I tried to just nud it along, but
the door closed faster than I expected and "BAM!",
it got me. Some awful bellowing sound came out
of my mouth. After a couple tugs, I realized I had
to open the door to free my hand from its death
grip. All along, poor Ethan just sat there & watched
me struggle with the door. These pictures don't do
my fingers justice. However, they do look a little
better thanks to my husband Jared. He gave me
an ice pack and a kiss to make it feel better.

oh you poor thing Michelle. No really that does hurt a ton. I remember one time I closed the bi-fold laundry doors on my finger and that hurt like heck so I can't imagine how those heavy garage doors must have felt.
Ouch :( I hope you feel better soon. I cut my finger open a couple of days ago while Josh was not home and Jackson was in the bath tub. I seriously almost passed out, but I tried to stay calm and get Jackson out of the tub while my finger was spraying blood everywhere. Jackson had no clue what was happening :) Bless their little hearts and thank heavens we are hands are still functioning :)
awwww. i would give your fingers a kiss to if i were with you right now.
Ouch! Good one. (=
